Whistleblowing is when an employee, contractor or supplier discloses information on suspected illegal and unethical practices at work. This can be done via internal processes set up by the organization.
Whistleblower can also be defined as a person who exposes information that he or she reasonably believes, at the time of disclosure, to be true and to constitute a threat or harm to a specified public interest, such as a violation of national or international law, abuse of authorities, waste, fraud, or harm to the environment, public health or public safety
Regionally Corruption is not only a South African phenomenon; many other countries have acknowledged the critical role of whistleblowers in combating corruption by implementing specific statutes to encourage individuals to blow the whistle
The Khuluma Hotline was developed to assist and enable employees, vendors and other stakeholders of Khuluma clients, to anonymously report any activity that is deemed illegal or unacceptable.
You can report any wrong doing from abuse, domestic violence, bullying from school, poor customer service.
